This smoothie is the perfect way to get your day started- not only does it taste amazing, it will give you that morning energy boost you’ve been searching for.

So what is in this magical smoothie?
Mango– frozen mango adds the perfect amount of sweetness, as well as a great source of vitamin C, A and fibre!
Banana-frozen banana is a must in pretty much all my smoothies, it creates the BEST thick milkshake like texture. They also happen to be high in potassium and a source of fibre.
Mixed greens– you can really use whatever greens you have on hand here, I like using spinach or mixed greens for a little more variety. Leafy greens are packed with tons of vitamins and minerals that are needed for an all around healthy diet.
Kale– kale is kind of the quintessential health food because of it’s high amounts of various nutrients.
Ginger– I love adding ginger to this smoothie for a spicy kick! I also love it for its anti-inflammatory and immune boosting properties.
Collagen powder– this is of course optional but it does make a great addition for skin, joint, bone and gut health.
Protein powder– To make sure my smoothies are staying balanced, I add in a little boost of protein. This is especially great to add after a morning workout.
